WOW! Where does the time go. It has been a challenging fall so far with so much going on. Kurt still fights his aches and pains from the accident, but we need to be thankful with so many bikers getting seriously injured and killed. He is excited about cyclocross season and is hoping to do well. Brianna is finding that 10th grade is not any easier than 9th grade. Not that she expected it to be. She continues to work hard and her teachers continue to tell us what a great kid she is. We are lucky to have a kid who wants to do well even when it isn't easy for her! Bode is loving preschool. He started at a new daycare where they have preschool worked into the day and he seems to be doing well with it. His "teachers" always tell us what a nice and polite young man he is. He really does have a neat personality. He is so much fun. Of course there are plenty of not so nice moments, but I suppose that is normal for any two (almost 3!) year old. I am slowly adjusting to all the changes in our new building. It gets a bit overwhelming at times, but they are mostly good changes, so eventually I am sure I will get on track. It just seems harder this year to stay organized. Sadly, we lost my dear grandmother a few weeks back. She, too, had just worn out after living a long life! We miss her, but know that she is up there telling God all her stories and telling him, "You mark my word..." Dad and Grandpa are now best buddies doing lots of things together.
